Betty May (Doss) Clark

Betty May (Doss) Clark, age 90 of Williamsport, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at St Vincent Hospital in Williamsport. She was born in Liberty Township, Parke County, Indiana on April 8, 1933 to the late Earl & Wandaline Blanche (Robinson) Doss Gordon.

Betty graduated from Tangier High School in 1951 and on June 9, 1951 she married the love of her life, James Edgar Clark Jr. at the Turkey Run Log Chapel. She was a loving mother and homemaker. She loved the outdoors, gardening, watching birds, crocheting, and was an excellent cook.

She is survived by her daughter, Audrey (Tom) Abbott; a granddaughter, Heather (Eric) Amos; a great-grandson, Christopher Amos; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior; her grandfather, Bloomer Brown Robinson (who helped raised her); her step-father, Ted Gordon; and three brothers, Paul Eugene Doss, Jackie Doss, and Billy Doss.

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 10:00am till the time of the funeral service at 11:00am with Pastor Steve Crum officiating.
