Gavin Dwayne Lewis

Gavin Lewis, age 27 of Veedersburg, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Methodist Hospital. He was born in Danville, IL on June 10, 1994, to the late Darrell Lewis and Carla Griffin.

Gavin attended Fountain Central High School and Lincoln Tech. He married Jessica Renee (Kellie) Lewis on December 19, 2017. He enjoyed working on cars, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. He recently worked at the Iron Skillet as a cook.
Gavin is survived by his sister, Myra Lewis; daughter, Lucy Lewis; grandmothers, Becky (Jeff) Ellis and Loretta Perkins; Nephew, Eli Pinner; step-grandmother, Jayne Gawthorp; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Gavin was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell and Carla; his wife Jessica; aunt, Jennifer Griffin; cousin Kami Griffin; and grandpa, Radio Eugene Thompson.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care 315 S. Washington Street in Crawfordsville on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 1:00pm until the time of funeral service at 2:00pm. The funeral will be live-streamed and recorded and can be viewed on Gavin's obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com.
