Aaron Lee Hart

d. November 23, 2012

Aaron Lee Hart, age 32 of Kingman, IN, was surrounded by family when he went home to be with his Lord on Friday, November 23, 2012. Born January 24, 1980 in Rochester, Indiana, he is the son of Rick and Sue (King) Hart of Mentone, IN. Aaron graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School in 1998. He continued his education at Indiana State University, receiving his Bachelor's in Elementary Education in May 2002. He went on to earn his Master's degree in School Leadership and Administration in May 2008. He was ordained into the ministry on November 22 of this year. He is a member of the Spirit of Life Church in Kingman. He began his teaching career at Pleasant Hill Elementary School in Crawfordsville in August of 2002. In the fall of 2008, he began his duties as the principal at Turkey Run Elementary in Marshall, IN. In addition to his work, he served on the board at Spirit of Life Ministries and was a member of the Indiana Association of School Principals.

A doting husband and father, Aaron blessed everyone he touched. A Spirit-filled Christian, he met life's challenges by faith and focusing on Jesus. He didn't allow an opportunity to pass him by to witness to or encourage another. He loved golf, Notre Dame football, IU basketball, playing at the family pond, and, above all, family. He shielded and protected those he loved daily. His children lit up his life and he spoiled them like every good father wants to.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Shannon Newnum Hart, who he married June 7, 2003 in Kingman, Indiana; two children, Aubrey Kaelynn and Aidan Lee Hart both at home; parents, Rick and Sue Hart of Mentone, IN; a sister, Gretchen & Johnny Wadkins of Bourbon, IN; father and mother in law, Dave & Cindy Newnum; sister in law, Erica & Steven Warren of Pittsboro, IN; brother in law, Kyle & Julia Newnum of Bloomington, IN; grandparents, Ed & Juanita King of Rochester, IN; his wife's grandparents, Miriam Woodrow of Romney, IN and Leon & Violet Newnum of Rockville, IN; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Caleb Matthew Hart; grandparents, Glenn & Annabelle Hart, and his wife's grandfather, Orin Woodrow.

A service to celebrate Aaron's life will be conducted at Spirit of Life Ministries in Kingman on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 11:00 am with Pastor Steve Crum officiating. Burial will follow at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care in Kingman on Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Spirit of Life building fund that Aaron was helping to coordinate with envelopes available at the funeral home. There is also an account that has been set up for the benefit of Aaron's children through the Fountain Trust Company. Donations can be made at any of the bank's locations or in envelopes available at the funeral home. Arrangements were entrusted to long time family friend Leonard Urban of Urban-Winkler Funeral Home of Connersville with the assistance of Sanders Funeral Care of Kingman, Indiana.
