Alan Vincent Sosa

Alan Vincent Sosa, age 77 of Kingman has achieved his angel wings and has risen up to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on November 26, 2023 at Franciscan Health Lafayette. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 27, 1946 to the late Vincent and Carmen Sosa.

Throughout the years Alan worked as a teacher of printing and graphic arts in Chicago Public Schools and Goodwill industries, worked at Pivot Point as a driver, and as a chef at Soldiers Field in Chicago. Alan had many chapters in the Book of Life, his last chapter was the twilight chapter sitting on the porch rocking to rock music.

Alan resided in Kingman, Indiana for the last 10 years. He is survived by his loving life partner, Clarissa "Cookie" Caton Allen of Kingman; a son, Alan M Sosa of Chicago; a brother, Len Sosa; three sisters, Rose (George-deceased) Schuster, Susan (Randy) Gayheart, and Louise Gonzalez-Ruiz; and his dog, Dixie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael Amidio.

Cremation was chosen with a visitation at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street in Kingman on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 11:00 am till the time of the celebration of life service at 1:00 pm. Share memories and condolences online at www.SandersFuneralCare.com.
