Alfred J Wolf

Alfred "Al" J. Wolf, age 74, of Veedersburg died at 08:30am on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at home. He was born in Cook County, IL on January 3, 1941. On October 5, 1962 in Fairmont, IN he married the love of his life, Marilyn Sue (Buck) Wolf, who survives. Al graduated from Marion College, which is now known as Indiana Wesleyan University and was a licensed secondary school teacher.

Al owned V.I.A for 41 years and was deeply involved with the Historical Markers Data Base www.HMDB.org. He was a past member of the Veedersburg Town Council, founding member (President) of the Veedersburg Jaycees, past president of the Veedersburg Lions Club, past president of the Veedersburg Redevelopment Authority, founding and past member of "Family Trees", past president of Van Buren Township Advisory Board, past Public Relations Coordinator for the Southeast Fountain Community Foundation and contributed to many improvements to the Veedersburg Boy Scouts Cabin.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; sons, John (Rhonda) Wolf and Thad (Debbie) Wolf; three daughters, Ginger Drenning, Coressa (Ben) Clark, and Sarah (Terry) Pickett, seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren and his pet rock, Stoney.

He was preceded in death by his lovely mother, Olga Rose Schneller Wolf; brother, George Walter Coglianese; sister, Olga Rose Coglianese; and Aunt Helen and Uncle Dale Felts.

Direct Cremation was chosen per Al's wishes with a private family gathering. Memorial donations may be given to the Needy Children Fund, Southeast Fountain Community Foundation, P.O.
