Alvin Trinkle

Mr. Alvin Eugene Trinkle, 57, Crawfordsville, passed away Thursday, October 3, at 11:04 AM, in the St. Elizabeth East Hospital, Lafayette. He was born October 30, 1955, in Crawfordsville, to Jacob and Nancy Shirley (Stewart) Trinkle. He first married Marilyn Scott in 1974 and then later married Denise E. Brown on July 9, 1999, in Townsend, Tennessee. She survives.

Mr. Trinkle had been a Truck Driver and currently was working for Kelly Construction of Indiana, in Lafayette. He attended Crawfordsville Schools; was a U. S. Navy Veteran; and loved to ride his motorcycle.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Amy (Jose) Munoz, Lafayette; Lisa (Elmo) Walters, Lafayette; and Stephanie (Frank) Harden, Crawfordsville. Also surviving is his brother: Dale (Dixie) Trinkle, Crawfordsville; and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and his sister: Teresa Van Hook.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 9, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, with Rev. David Finch officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill South Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 8, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion and VFW Posts of Crawfordsville.
