Mrs. Anakela Sue Parker, 43, Crawfordsville, passed away in her home on Saturday morning, March 15th. She was born March 1, 1971, in Crawfordsville, to Kenneth R. and Patricia L. (Lewellen) Mason. She was previously married to Ken Baer. She later married James M. Parker on June 17, 2000, in Crawfordsville. He survives.
Mrs. Parker was a Certified Nursing Assistant for 25 years, having worked for several area hospitals and nursing homes. She was a 1990 graduate of Southmont High School; and enjoyed in her leisure time, gardening, flowers, photography, music, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother: Pat Mason, Crawfordsville; her sons: Dakota G.A. Baer, Logansport; Gage R. Baer, Crawfordsville; step-sons: James M. Parker and Joshua (Bonni) Parker, both of Hinesville, Georgia; her "shared son": Aaron Clawson, Waynetown; and her maternal grandfather: Bob Lewellen, Brownsvalley. She was preceded in death by her father; her maternal grandmother: Mary L. Lewellen; and her paternal grandmother: Ruth Hodges.
Cremation was selected with a Memorial Service - Celebration of Life being held at the Moose Family Center, 402 Waynetown Rd, Crawfordsville, on Friday, March 21. The family will greet friends at the Moose Lodge on Friday from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM with services following officiated by Rev. Ken Green.
