Audrey Davis

Mrs. Audrey Lou Davis, 84, Crawfordsville, went to see her Lord on Tuesday, April 16, at 11:38 AM, in the St. Elizabeth East Hospital, Lafayette. She was born February 27, 1929, in Montgomery County, to Leland Guy and Alberta Faye (Harshbarger) Shelton. She married Daniel Gene Davis on November 26, 1950, in Crawfordsville. He survives.

Mrs. Davis was an active member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church since 1955; she was a 1947 graduate of Wingate High School; and she helped deliver "Meals on Wheels".

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son: Daniel Ray (Lorraine) Davis, Kokomo; her daughters: Pamela Kay (Lindsey) Abney, Crawfordsville, and Stacey Lu Ann (Charlie) Graham, Veedersburg. Also surviving are sisters: Ruby Harrison, Crawfordsville; Beverly (Charlie) Bruton, Crawfordsville; Patricia Neely, Florida; brother: Walter "Sonny" (Sue) Shelton, Crawfordsville; grandchildren: Brad Abney, Crawfordsville; Matt (Tami) Abney, Crawfordsville; Heather (Kevin) Lynch, Kokomo; Christine Fernandez,

Crawfordsville; Addison Graham, Veedersburg; and 11 great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Ocie Harrison; grandsons: Jeremy Abney ad Rodney Terry.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 20, at 11:00 AM in the Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Bristol officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill South Cemetery.
