Barbara Jo (Blanton) Knauer

Barbara Jo Knauer passed away on November 21, 2023 at Franciscan Health in Lafayette. She was born on September 26, 1953 to Rosyln (Dabbs) in Salisbury, Maryland.

Barbara attended Ivy Tech in Lafayette. She worked for Masterguard/Flex-N-Gate Inc for 20 years, retiring in 2014 and previously worked at Pace Dairy. Barbara enjoyed being outside, mushroom hunting and sitting on her porch enjoying the fresh air. She also loved going on vacations. Barbara adored her dog of 11 years, Molly.

Barbara is survived by 3 children, Kimberly Gregg (Joe) of Crawfordsville, Troy Grant of Lafayette, Andrew Knauer of Waveland; 4 grandchildren, Sydney Gregg, Owen Gregg, Kaitlynn Brock and Aurora Knauer; a great grandson, Vincent; siblings, Robert Blanton (Susan) of Wilmington, DE, Melodie Repole (Danny) of Port; St. Lucy, FL; and 2 nephews, Jessie and Travis. She was predeceased by her mother and brother, Todd Blanton.

A Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 2-4pm at the Crawfordsville American Legion, Post 72, 101 Walter Remley Drive in Crawfordsville.
