Barbara Louise (Perkins) Leslie

Barbara Louise (Perkins) Leslie, age 89, of New Ross, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 at the Lane House. She was born in Crawfordsville on January 30, 1933 to the late Leslie and Kathlyn (Gerold) Perkins.

Barbara graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1951. She married Robert James Leslie on December 28, 1950, he preceded her in death on August 28, 2018. She enjoyed gardening, houseplants, and coloring on her phone. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Robert Leslie, Jeffrey Leslie, Brian (Debbie Campbell) Leslie; two daughters, Tina Landrum and Marsha (Bill) Shirley; a sister, Judy Kirts; ten grandchildren, Joe England, TJ Hood, Luv (Brandon) Lowe, Cassie (Ryan) Cummins, Scott (Tiffany) Lang, Stacy (Mike) Fowler, Austin Leslie, Jared Leslie, Tabitha Landrum, and Fawn Landrum; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Dennis Leslie; a daughter, Brenda Bradford; two sisters, Shirley Collins and Mary Link; and a brother-in-law, Rick Kirts.

There will be a visitation at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington Street in Crawfordsville on Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral service at 1:00 pm.
