Beth Ray

Mrs. Beth Ann Ray, 38, Crawfordsville, passed away Sunday morning, November 6, in her home. She was born December 18, 1972, in Crawfordsville, to Donald and Robin (Kellerman) Benge. She married Arnie Ray. He survives.

Mrs. Ray had worked at Steak & Shake and Circle K. She was a 1991 graduate of Southmont High School. She enjoyed NASCAR and her favorite driver was Tony Stewart.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother: Robin Sagers, Indianapolis; her father: Don Benge (Brenda Wright), Crawfordsville; her children: Courtney Swazey and Kayleigh Ray, both of Crawfordsville; her step-son: Eli Martin, Ladoga; her brothers: Jeremy (Tabitha) Benge, New Market; Chad (Christina) Benge, Ladoga; Casey Benge, Plainfield; and Cory (Kimberly) Benge, Crawfordsville. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 12, at 2:30 PM, at Oak Hill North Cemetery, 392 W. Oak Hill Road, Crawfordsville. Friends may call at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville, on Saturday, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Memorials may be made at the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
