Mrs. Betty L. Parish, 74, Crawfordsville, passed away Sunday, October 13, at 4:55 PM in the St. Anthony's Healthcare, Lafayette. She was born February 9, 1939, in Wingate, to Clyde H. and Zora M. (Geiger) Bradley. She first married Gene Dagley and later married Ronald L. Parish, July 4, 1990, in Las Vegas. Both husbands preceded her in death.
Mrs. Parish had been a waitress at the "Pancake House" in Crawfordsville and also had been the bartender at the American Legion Post 72, Crawfordsville. She attended Wingate and Crawfordsville Schools; member of the Pleasant Hill United Christian Church, Wingate; member of the Golden Age Eagles Auxilliary #1005, Women of the Moose #696, American Legion Auxilliary #72, 40 & 8 Salon # 792, and a Life Member of the VFW Ladies Auxilliary #1431. In her free time she enjoyed golfing and bowling.
She is survived by her sisters: Elsie Lane, New Richmond; Ruby Carpenter, Battleground; her brother: Carl H. (Nancy) Bradley, Hubert, North Carolina. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons: Donald Gene Dagley and Mark Allen Dagley; and an infant sister: Helen Mae Bradley.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 16, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Wingate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from Noon until the service time.
