Beulah Edna Black, 88, Crawfordsville, passed away Friday, July 22, at 12:25 AM at the Ben Hur Home, Crawfordsville. She was born March 2, 1923 in Wayne County, Kentucky, to Claudie and Nettie Mae (Flynn) Keith. She married Arnold Black on October 2, 1940 in Somerset, Kentucky. He preceded her in death in 1974.
Mrs. Black was a homemaker; a member of the Baptist Church; and educated in Wayne County, Kentucky, schools.
She is survived by her children: Betty (Jim) Hoffman, and Norman (Jeannie) Black, both of Crawfordsville. Also surviving are sisters: Della Mae Gilliatt, Darlington; Eva Muse, Nancy, Kentucky; brother: Louid Keith, Cincinnati, Ohio; and 7 grandchildren, several great grand and great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons: Victor, Sr. and Robert Black; brothers: Hobert, Romer, Goldman, and Curtis Keith; sisters: Margie Dobbs, Gladys Becht, and Evelyn Duncan; 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 25, at 11:00 AM, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville, with Rev. Doug Givan officiating. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Darlington. Friends may call at the
