Bill D Deener

Bill D. Deener, age 67 of Crawfordsville passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville while surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Clinton, Indiana on November 14, 1951 to the late William S. & Thelma E. (Harmon) Deener. He graduated from Turkey Run High School in 1969 cum laude and was a member of the Marshall Baptist Church. Bill was a 5-color pressman and worked at R.R. Donnelley’s for over 40 years. Bill loved sports and was a Colts, I.U. and Cubs fan. He had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by a daughter, Nicole (Andy) Jalowiec; a son, Jamey (Rebecca) Deener; nine siblings, Rita (Jerry) Jamison, Brenda Deener, Dennis Deener, Jim Deener, Mike Deener, Julie (Larry) Knapp, Robin (Richard) Scott, Charla (Jason) Miller, and Keith Deener; three grandchildren, Henry, Drew, and Piper Jalowiec; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Nathan Deener; and two infant brothers, William & Bobby Deener.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington Street in Crawfordsville on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00pm. The funeral service will be at Marshall Baptist Church, 209 Guion Road, in Marshall, Indiana on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 12:00pm (noon) with Pastor J.D. Bowman officiating. Cremation will follow with burial of cremains at Bethany Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in his memory to the Marie Canine Cancer Center.
