Bonnie Carol Holt

Mrs. Bonnie Carol Holt, age 68, of Crawfordsville, In. passed away at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health Emergency Room, Crawfordsville, In. on Monday July 15th at 4:53 am.

Bonnie was born at Crawfordsville on February 21, 1945 the daughter of Clarence and Laura Elkins Rose. A graduate of Waynetown High School she received her BS in Education from Cedarville University in Cedarville Ohio and her MS in education from Indiana State in Terre Haute, In.

Bonnie taught Elementary education at Waynetown and then for North Montgomery School Corporation before her retirement. She and her husband had been members of Faith church of Lafayette for 20+ years and were now members of East Side Baptist church of Crawfordsville, In.

Bonnie married John Holt on June 12, 1982 and he survives at Crawfordsville, In. She is also survived by one step daughter Beth Holt of Lafayette, In. One sister: Betty Bishop of Crawfordsville, In. 2 step grandsons and 2 step great grandsons. She was predeceased by her parents, on brother and one step daughter: Marcia Taylor.

Bonnie's funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Friday July 19th at the East Side Baptist Church in Crawfordsville, In. With Rev. Steve Whicker officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Cemetery near Waynetown, In. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday at the church.
