Bonnie L Puckett

Bonnie L. Puckett, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, age 57 of Crawfordsville, passed away at 2:23 pm on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Ben Hur Home in Crawfordsville. Bonnie was born December 22, 1954 in East Chicago, IN to Billy Gene DeMotte and Mary Ellen (Callahan) DeMotte.

She was married to Danny Puckett on July 22, 1972 at Waterman Baptist Church in Lodi, IN. Bonnie graduated from Covington High School in 1972 and Ivy Tech School of Nursing. She was employed at Covington Manor and Ben Hur Home until her retirement in 2000 due to poor health.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her father and two infant sisters.

Survivors include husband Danny Puckett and two daughters Carrie L. Puckett and Latisha Grace Sanders. Also surviving is her mother Mary E. DeMotte ; brothers - Gary (wife Cheryl) Carpenter of Gilford, IN, William E, "Buzz" (wife Donna) DeMotte, Jerry "Darb" DeMotte, and Jeffrey Scott DeMotte, all of Kingman, IN; grandchildren - Kaleb and Kelci Bussey, Danny Thomas and Dawson Sanders. She is also survived by many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and sister-in-law Carolyn Puckett.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 27, 2012 from 1pm -3pm at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, Kingman, IN. Graveside prayer and burial will follow at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery with Pastor Kenneth Majors officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
