Mrs. Brenda Gay Walden-Wiltermood-Baker, 60, Crawfordsville, passed away on Saturday, February 23, at 5:10 PM in the Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis, after a several month illness. She was born August 2, 1952, in Crawfordsville, to Wendell and Ruth (Palojarvi) Walden. She was the spouse of David Duane Baker. He preceded her in death on August 13, 2008.

Brenda was a Beautician and a Homemaker. She was a 1970 graduate of Crawfordsville High School; a graduate of The House of James Beauty School; Charter Member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Crawfordsville; and enjoyed painting and crocheting.

She is survived by her daughters: Kathy (Chris) Sering, New Richmond; Debbie Wiltermood, Crawfordsville; and Amy (Jeremy) Allen, Crawfordsville. Also surviving is her Mother: Ruth Walden, Crawfordsville; brothers: Mike (Shirley) Walden, Indianapolis; Rick (Becky) Walden, Schoolcraft, Michigan; grandchildren: Domanic, Kristina, and Mercedes Wiltermood; Hanna Rich; Lexi and Noah Allen; Alexis Johnson; Kaitlyn and Callie Sering; and the father of her daughters: Jack Wiltermood. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her Father in 1999, and her grandparents.

Cremation was selected with a Memorial Service to be held Tuesday, February 26, at 6:00 PM, in the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene, 453 S. State Road 341, Hillsboro, Indiana. with Rev. Greg McDonald officiating. The family will greet friends at the church on Tuesday, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Memorials may be made to assist with the final expenses in care of : Amy Allen, 311 N. Grant Ave., Crawfordsville, IN 47933. Arrangements are being handled by the family with the assistance of Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, Crawfordsville.
