Mrs. Carolyn Sue Booth, 81, Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, November 6th. She was born February 5th, 1934, in Speedway, to Ernest Dalbert and Bernice (Lyle) Owens. She married Richard Lee Booth on June 20th, 1952, in Fishers. He preceded her in death on April 5th, 2014.
Mrs. Booth was a Homemaker. She was a 1952 graduate of Fishers High School; was a long time member of the Woodland Heights Christian Church; was an active volunteer for the FISH Pantry and Thrift Shop; was a member of the Indiana Basket Guild; and in her free time enjoyed making baskets and especially being with her family.
She is survived by her four sons: Dan (Dee) Booth; Gary (Jill) Booth; Kenny (Libbie) Booth; and Rick (Julie) Booth, all of Crawfordsville. Also surviving are 23 grand and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister: Marilyn Scott; her brother: Robert Owens; and her granddaughter: Annie Booth.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 11th, at the Woodland Heights Christian Church, 468 N. Woodland Heights Dr., Crawfordsville, with Pastor Tony Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill South Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday, November 10th, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
