Carolyn Wilson

Mrs. Carolyn McDaniel Wilson, 74, Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday morning, June 18th. She was born July 23rd, 1939, in Lebanon, to Ernest and Dorothy (Layton) McDaniel.. She married Dale C. Wilson in Danville, Illinois, on March 23rd, 1974. He survives.

Mrs. Wilson was a Homemaker; was a 1957 graduate of Dover High School; was a member of the New Hope Christian; and enjoyed working with her flowers.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Steve (Shari) Smith; Debbie (Nolan) Howard; Dee (Greg) Searing; and Jeff (Jamie) Smith. Also surviving is her sister: Phyllis Cooper; her brother: Gary (Judy) McDaniel; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Marilyn Copeland, Patricia Wilson, and Shirley Breedlove; and a step-son: Curt Wilson. Carolyn also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her terribly.

Carolyn had chosen to be cremated without public services and burial will be private and at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: The Salvation Army, C/O HUB Ministries, 406 Mill St., Crawfordsville, IN 47933
