Carroll Wayne Terry, husband of Joyce Alice Eubanks Terry, died from cancer August 7th, 2014 at the age of 83. He was born February 3rd, 1931, the son of the late Vora and Cora (Busenbark) Terry and was raised on a farm southeast of Crawfordsville.

Except for the two years Carroll was in the Army, he has lived his entire life southeast of Crawfordsville. In 1955 he had his first child, Mitzi Ann, in Alaska where he was stationed. Mitzi lives in New Market, Indiana with her husband, Carl Keller. She has two children, two step-children, and 5 grandsons. In 1956 Patty and Carroll moved back to Indiana to his current grain farm. His second child, David Wayne was born that year and later battled leukemia and died at the age of six. Brenda Dianne was born in 1960. She is living in Vancouver, Washington with her husband, Mike Dobbs. They have two children and a grandson. His fourth child, Ronald Dwayne was born in 1962 with Down's Syndrome and currently lives in assisted living apartments in Indianapolis. Timothy Curtis was born in 1964 and married Roxie (McAnulty) Terry. They have four children and live in the home where Carroll grew up which has been in the family over 100 years. Kathy Roxanne was born in 1967 and is living in Haubstadt, Indiana with her husband, Mike Sollman, and has two children.

After 59 years of marriage, Patty passed away with Alzheimer's in December of 2009. However, God planned more for Carroll and he fell in love again and married Joyce Alice Eubanks on July 4th, 2010. She is a QMA (Qualified Medical Assistant) caregiver.

Carroll was a life-long member of Whitesville Christian Church, and very active in the community during his life. Carroll served on the board of the Montgomery County Community Foundation, supported 4-H, and helped form the Montgomery County Assoc. for Retarded Children, Inc., now Ability Services. He loved hunting, camping, boating, making maple syrup, euchre, ping pong, many sports, and in his later years he became an antique car enthusiast.

Carroll is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Joyce Eubanks Terry of Crawfordsville, IN, and his children: Mitzi (Carl) Keller of New Market, Indiana; Brenda (Mike) Dobbs of Vancouver, Washington; Ronald Terry of Indianapolis; Tim (Roxie) Terry of Crawfordsville; and Kathy (Mike) Sollman of Haubstadt, Indiana. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Patty, his son, David, and his sister and four brothers.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th from 3pm to 7pm at the Whitesville Christian Church, 3765 E. Ladoga Rd. Funeral services will be at the church on Monday, August 11th at 10:30am, with Rev. Michael Whitacre officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum with Military Rites being conducted by the U S Army and the American Legion and VFW Honor Guard.
