Catherine Goff

Catherine M. "Katie" Goff, 90, Crawfordsville, passed away on Saturday, January 21, at 11:00 AM, at the Ben Hur Nursing Home. She was born April 7, 1921, in Russellville, to Dwight and Stella (Donehew) Evans, and moved to Crawfordsville in 1942. She married Albert A. Goff, on February 21, 1977, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2000.

Mrs. Goff was a Proof Reader for RR Donnelleys, having retired in 1977 after 35 years. She was a 1939 graduate of Russellville High School; member of the Russellville Community Christian Church; Donnelley Club Director; and the Donnelley's Bowling League. In her free time she enjoyed sports, flowers, yard work, and watching TV.

She is survived by her dear friends of whom she considered her family: Michael and Jeanette Newlin, and thier daughter and grandson: Brandy (Jeremy) Bennett, and Owen Bennett, all of Crawfordsville.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her sister: Helen Fulton; and her brothers: Donald L."Moose" Evans and Charles B. Evans.

A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, at the Hebron Cemetery, near Russellville with Chaplain Betty Uhl officiating. There will not be any public visitation. Online condolences may be sent to: powerspriebefh.com
