Charlene Ann Edwards

Mrs. Charlene Ann Edwards, age 61, of Crawfordsville passed away unexpectantly at home Wednesday December 9th. Charlene was born on January 17, 1954 at Crawfordsville, In. the daughter of Kenneth A. Burley and Virginia Moore Burley Scott. She graduated from North Montgomery High School in 1`972 and the from IVY Tech College in Lafayette with an Associates degree.

Charlene was recently retired from Indiana Family and Social Services in Crawfordsville and was a member of the Waynetown Baptist church. She first married John Hutchison and then Raymond Edwards both husbands predeceased her.

Charlene is survived by her mother: Virginia Scott of Crawfordsville, In. Her father: Kenneth A. Burley of California. Her son: Jason Hutchison of Crawfordsville, In. and her sister: Karla McNair of Lawrenceville, N.J. She is also survived by her granddaughter: Hayley D. Hutchison whom she was raising and a grandson Zachary Hutchison of Crawfordsville, In. She was predeceased by her husbands, son: Daniel Hutchison and her step father: Arthur Scott.

Funeral services for Charlene Edwards will be held at 2:00pm Saturday December 12 at Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 Bratton rd. Waynetown, In. with the Rev. Dorman Winger officiating. burial will follow in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. the family will receive visitors from 12 noon on Saturday until the services begin. In lieu of flowers those who wish to may make memorial donations to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses. Donation envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
