Charles Gardner

Charles L. Gardner, 64, of Lebanon and formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away July 14 at 7:19 PM at his home. He was born August 13, 1945 in Crawfordsville to the late Henry W. & Faye E. (Swank) Gardner. He was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School and a Vietnam War Army Veteran. He had worked for Fauber Construction and Gas America. He was a member of the Youngs Chapel Christian Church, a life member of the Crawfordsville Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Indiana Laborers Union.

He is survived by daughter, Amber (husband-Rob) Hummel, Lebanon, In; sisters, Caroline Hunt, Mary Gardner, and Bert Herron, all of Crawfordsville, and Nancy Haley, Monticello, In; a brother, Harold Gardner, West Lafayette. Grandchildren, Austin, Sammie, and Tyler Gudell and Paige and Zoey Corbin.

He was preceeded in death by brother, Sam Gardner and sister, Joan McFarland.

Visitation was held at Powers Priebe Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, on July 17th, 2010, at 9:00am - 11:00am.
