Charles David Van Cleave

Mr. Charles David Van Cleave, age 76, of Crawfordsville, In. passed away at 6:10 am Sunday June 2, 2013 at Hickory Creeek Nursing Home in Lebanon, In.
Charles was born on November 14, 1936 at Crawfordsville, In. the son of Harold P. and Lovcia S. Cason Van Cleave. He graduated from Crawfordsville High School class of 1955 and served in the army National Guards for 2 terms. He began work at RR Donnelleys and Sons in 1955 and retired from the position of clerk/manager after 37 years and was a member of Rock Point Church and an avid fisherman and woodworker.
Charles married Bonnie Martin in 1957 and she survives him at Crawfordsville, In. He is also survived by their three sons, Cully Van Cleave of Crawfordsville, In., Kelly Van Cleave of Ladoga, In. and Tim Van Cleave of Natchitoches, Louisiana and five grandchildren. Charles was predeceased by his parents, borhters Donald and Robert Van Cleave and sister Katherine Van Cleave Arnold.
It was Charles's wish to be cremated and for his family to have a private memorial service. Those who wish may send condolenses to the Van Cleave family at 1300 West 300 South, Crawfordsville, In. 47933
