Charlotte Ann Jones

Mrs. Charlotte A. Jones, age 74, joined her angelic grandaughter "Tasha" in Heaven on Thursday afternoon August 10th while a patient at St. Elizabeth Hospital East in Lafayette. Charlotte was born on May 30, 1943 near Newtown, IN. the daughter of Max and Esther (nee: Phipps) Brewer and attended Richland Township schools. Charlotte married Basil Leon Jone on October 23, 1960 and he survives her. Charlotte and Leon formerly lived at Waynetown where they raised thier family before retireing to Crawfordsville, she formerly attended the Hillsboro Nazarene Church.

Charlotte is survived by her husband Leon Jones of Crawfordsville, IN.; daughters Ann & Tony Clark of Indianapolis, IN., Cynthia & Steve Gouchenour of Carbon, IN. and Tina Jones of New Richmond, IN. She is also survived by her brothers Dean Brewer of Idaho and Mark Brewer of Crawfordsville, IN. She will be missed by 10 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter Natasha.

It was Charlotte's desire to be cremated and to have her ashes buried. A graveside commital service will be conducted at 2:00pm Thursday August 17th at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery and officiated by Brother Clarence Lee.
