Cheryl Sue Brown

Mrs. Cheryl Sue Brown, age 72, of Linden and formerly of Rockville, IN. passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Cheryl was born on January 31, 1945 at Clinton, In. the daughter of William and Beulah (nee: Farran) Earl. Cheryl graduated from Waveland High School and Indiana Business College. She married Keith Cooper in 1963 and they later divorced, she married David Brown in 1988 and he preceded her in death in 2014. Cheryl worked for Marriott Food services at Wabash College for 17 years and then owned the Castaways resturant and bar at Raccon Lake for 18 years.

Cheryl is survived by her sons: Phillip Cooper (companion Beth Simpson) of Linden, In.; Greg (wife: Evie) Cooper of Easley South Carolina and her granddaughter that she raised, Kaylie Brown (companion; David Edwards) of Crawfordsville, In. and her step son: Greg Brown of Linden, In. She is also survived by her brother Randy Earls of Silver Springs, Fl. and 2 other grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 brother, 1 infant sister and 1 grandson.

Cheryl had requested cremation and the family will hold a celebration of her life on Sunday August 20th from 2:00pm till 6:00pm at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 Bratton Rd., Waynetown, In.
