Mrs. C. Jean Anderson, 74, Crawfordsville, passed away Thursday, June 20th at 8:02 PM in the Lane House Nursing Home, where she had been so lovingly taken care and which the family would like to acknowledge their gratitude. She was born November 18, 1938, in Rockwell City, Iowa, to Gordon and Florence (Hiemen) Conrad. She married Delbert N. Anderson, December 1, 1957, in Rockwell City. He preceded her in death June 15, 2009.

Mrs. Anderson was a retired cook having worked at the Holiday Inn, Pizza King, and the Crawford Hotel & Cafe. She enjoyed her family gatherings; taking care of children in need; and collecting owls and bells.

She is survived by her children: David (Patrice) Anderson, Belleville, Michigan; Debra (John) Knauer, Crawfordsville; Dee Dee (Craig) Jones, Linden; Dawn (Mark) Stout, Darlington; Diane (Tim) Fairfield, Crawfordsville; Danny (Amy) Anderson, Kankakee, Illinois; and Darin Anderson, Crawfordsville. Also surviving is her brother: John (Barb) Conrad, Lake Elmo, Minnesota; grandchildren: Quinten, Ally, Kylie, Dessi and Lleyton Anderson; Heather Brown; Ella and Andy Knauer; Jasmine Roach; Kaylee Jones; Trenner and Trenelle Stout; Kinzie Welcher; great grandchildren: Sienna Michele Griffith, Emily and Greyson Anderson, and Aiden Allred. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Fairfield.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 24, at 8:00 PM at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home with Father Dennis Fakker officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 4:00 PM until the service time. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
