Colita "Kay" (Cunningham) Everett, age 73, of Kingman, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 6:05 am at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Crawfordsville. Kay was born in Wallace, IN on February 11, 1940 to the late Charles and Dorothy (Miller) Cunningham. She graduated from Wallace High School in 1958 and married the late Maxie Everett on May 16, 1958 in Kingman.

Kay dedicated her whole life to her family. She was a great cook, loved the kitchen, and you never left her house hungry. She belonged to the Fountain County Homemakers, enjoyed watching the Food Network, collecting cardinals, and feeding her hummingbirds.

She is survived by a daughter, Lou Ann (Jon) Lamb of Marshall; a son, Dale (Carla) Everett of Kingman; two sisters, Mary Jane Zachary of Texas and Sally Jo Cunningham of Wallace; 6 grandchildren, Joe, Jon, Matthew, Brad, Casey, and Kelsey; 8 great grandchildren, Rylie Jo, Ryann, Jacob, Bryce, Raven, Evan, Julian, and Dylan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maxie; brother, Merrill; son, Michael "Hef"; and a great granddaughter, Isabella Rose.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 11:00am at Wolf Creek Cemetery with Harold Holt officiating. Sanders Funeral Care entrusted with care. Share memories and condolences online at www.sandersfuneralcare.com
