Connie Joan Pearson

Connie Joan Pearson, age 84, a lifelong resident of Kingman, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020 at the Waters of Covington. She was born in Kingman on July 10, 1936 to the late Raymond & Ruth (Newnum) Pearson.

Joan graduated from Kingman High School in 1954 and worked at RMC in Attica from 1955-1986, then worked at Dormeyer in Rockville from 1986-1999. Joan was a member of the Kingman Methodist Church and the Pairs and Spares Sunday school class and enjoyed cooking, gardening, worked at the Kingman Public Library and was active in the community.

She is survived by her nephews, Steven Secrest and Paul Secrest; her cousin and care taker, Staci (Dennis) Payton; cousins, Karen (Robert) Kirts and Michael (Jean) Newnum, and good friend, Carolyn Puckett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Maxine Cashmore; a brother, Benny Pearson; and nieces, Pam Moore and Brenda Secrest.

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman on Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 2:00pm till the time of the funeral service at 3:00pm with Pastor Steve Crum officiating.
