Cynthia Hightower

Mrs. Cynthia E. "Cindy" Hightower, 64, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday morning, November 4. She was born December 19th, 1948, in Lafayette, to Asa and Wreatha (Harris) Hanthorne. She married Frank L. Hightower, June 25th, 1966, in Linden. He survives.

Mrs. Hightower owned Cindy's Charming Changes Interior Decorating Company for 25 years. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Crawfordsville, where she served in the Eucherist Ministry for many years; and she attended Crawfordsville Schools. Cindy was an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt, and a friend to all. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: Stacy (Lisa) Hightower, Marshall; and Chad (Erica) Hightower, Fishers. Also surviving are brothers: Ronnie (Gerri) Hanthorne, Stone Bluff; Dannie (Chris) Hanthorne, Attica; and grandchildren: Reece, Riley, Brock, Brady, and Bella Hightower. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Dean Hanthorne of Attica.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 8, at 11:00 AM in the St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 1306 E. Main St., Crawfordsville. Visitation will be held in the church on Thursday, November 7, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. According to Cindy's wishes, cremation will follow her funeral service and the family will have a private burial of the cremains at Calvary Cemetery, Crawfordsville, at a later date. Powers-Priebe Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
