Daisy Catherine Snyder

March 13, 1938 — September 30, 2018

Mrs. Daisy Catherine Snyder, age 80, of Crawfordsville, IN. went to her forever home in Heaven on Sunday morning September 30, 2018 surrounded by her earthly family.

Daisy was born on March 13, 1938 at Alamo, IN the daughter of Frank and Mary Frances (nee: Bell) Goins. She graduated from Wallace High School
where she was a Wallace Pepper cheerleader. She married Donald White on January 1, 1956 and they later divorced. Daisy then married Alvin McCorkle in 1981 and they loved to travel before he passed away in 1986. In 1989 Daisy married Charles Herbert Snyder and he preceded her in death on March 6, 2011. Daisy formerly worked in production at Raybestos Products Co., in Crawfordsville before her retirement. When she lived at New Whiteland she was a member of the Baptist Church there. Daisy loved to go fishing, camping and to travel.

Daisy is survived by her children: Larry White and Kevin (companion Kim Risner) White, Roxanne (companion: Robert Houle) Miller, Cindy (husband: Danny) Robinson and Donna White all of Crawfordsville, IN. She is also survived by her brother: Bill Goins of Nashville, IN. and sister: Betty Ivy of Indianapolis, IN. 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Daisy was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Alvin McCorkle and Charles Snyder, 6 brothers and 3 sisters and her grandson Shawn White.

Daisy chose to have cremation and her family will gather for a Graveside service and burial of her urn on October 11, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown is entrusted with these services.
