Danny O Puckett

Danny Puckett, age 64 of Crawfordsville and formerly of Kingman, died on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Danny was born in Crawfordsville on August 10, 1951 to the late Montelle and Phyllis L. (Kiger) Puckett. He was a 1969 graduate of Fountain Central and later of Ivy Tech.

On July 22, 1972, Danny married the love of his life Bonnie Lee DeMotte at the Waterman Baptist Church in Lodi. Bonnie preceded him in death on June 22, 2012.

Danny spent many years in mfg. with Harrison Steel, Nabisco Confections, and Steel Grip. Danny was once a very avid golfer, fisherman, and liked many other outdoor activities. He also enjoyed watching NFL and college Basketball, but what he loved most was spending time with his family.

Surviving are his daughters, Carrie Puckett and Latisha Sanders both of Crawfordsville; grandchildren, Kaleb Bussey, Kelci Bussey, Danny Sanders, and Dawson Sanders; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bonnie; and a brother Davey Lee.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 1-3pm at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman with graveside services and burial to follow at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.
