David Allen Carroll

David Allen Carroll, age 74, of Crawfordsville, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021 at his home. He was born on July 5, 1946 to the late Austin and Ella Ida (Dodson) Carroll.

David graduated from Cloverdale High School. He went on to attend pipe trade school. He married the love of his life, Sherry Ann Clark on August 21, 1971. He took pride in owning and running his own company, Craft Mechanical Contractors. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, cooking, and watching his grandsons play sports, especially baseball. He loved spending time with and spoiling his grandsons. David was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He had a good sense of humor that made everyone want to be around him. He was the life of the party. He enjoyed visiting Florida, where he owned a condo and riding motorcycles with his son, Tony.

David is survived by his wife, Sherry; a son, Tony Carroll; a daughter, Jennifer (Brett) Motz; two grandsons, Austin and Wyatt Motz: sister-in-law, Sue Carroll; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Carroll.

Visitation be at Oak Hill Mausoleum, 392 W. Oak Hill Road in Crawfordsville, on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm.
