Dawn A. DeSutter

Dawn A. Kalweit-DeSutter, age 59 of Crawfordsville passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Crawfordsville on February 9, 1959 to the late Eugene & Betty (Handley) Brooks.

Throughout the years she worked for All Smiles Dental in Crawfordsville, Robbies Restaurant in Attica, and Blue Elephant Antique Store in Williamsport. She attended New Hope Christian Church and enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales, was a collector of bargains, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She cared and loved every child that crossed her path and she will be remembered for her wonderful personality that would light up the room.

She is survived by her son, Tyler (Kim) Kalweit of Veedersburg; brother, David (Betty) Brooks; 3 sisters, Debbie Scruggs, Denise (Dan) Maxwell, and Diana Hester; sister-in-law Dee Brooks; 3 grandchildren, Addison, Kaden, and Jaylea Kalweit; and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kyle Kalweit; brother, Darin Brooks; and brother-in-law, Keith Hester.

There will be a private viewing with cremation to follow. Special thanks to Southern Care hospice for their wonderful care of Dawn.
