Debbie Jane Keffer

Debbie Jane (McClamroch) Keffer, 57, of New Ross, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015.

Born on January 25, 1958 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Merle and Velma (Cromer).

On December 19, 1981 in Crawfordsville, she married Dan Keffer, who survives.

A graduate of Crawfordsville High School, Debbie earned a Bachelors degree at Indiana State University.

Debbie was the Director of the Roachdale Public Library for ten years. Prior to her time at Roachdale she worked for ALSA at the Crawfordsville Public Library until becoming a stay at home mom.

Debbie loved traveling, reading and gardening, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving with her husband are three children; Abbie (Joe) Lowe of Jamestown, Kyle (Trisha) Keffer of Oxford and Jared Keffer of New Ross; one grandchild Max Lowe; one sister; Sherry Bible of Dallas; her mother-in-law Donis Keffer of Crawfordsville. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law Cecil Keffer.

Cremation was selected with a private gathering of remembrance to be held at a later date.
