Diana Marie (Hutchison) Aveline, 70, was born in Alamo to Clarence and Evelyn Hutchison. She is survived by her two daughters; Violet Aveline and Annette Aveline; her father, Clarence Hutchison; two sisters, Sheila Dawson and Linda Hutchison; as well as two grandchildren, Bela Aveline and Oskar Aveline
She was a vibrant character who loved rock and roll and dancing, almost as much as she loved her family. Upon retiring from Alcoa after 33 years of being a machinist, she pursued her lifelong love of sewing by starting her own business, Diana Stitch and Design. She loved to volunteer at the local children’s library, design costumes for local plays, and spend time at local nursing homes lighting up the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She was a baker, seamstress, motorcycle rider, dancer, lover of all animals, as well as, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and a child of God.
There will be a celebration of life at Turkey Run’s Big Log Shelter on Friday, August 4, 2023, from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Sanders Priebe Funeral Care is entrusted with care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all donations made to their local animal shelter in memory of her dog, Lenny. Share memories and condolences online at www.SandersFuneralCare.com
