Dollie Mae Wright

Dollie Mae Wright, age 60 of Crawfordsville passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025 at St. Vincent Indianapolis. She was born in Crawfordsville on June 29, 1964 to the late Lloyd and Marjorie (Newport) Wright.

Dollie graduated from South Montgomery High School in 1982. She was employed at Ben Hur Health and Rehabilitation as a laundry aide. Dollie loved spending time with her family and friends.

Dollie will be deeply missed by her sons, Austin Wright and Christopher Elliott; daughter, Jasmine Hayes; siblings, Roger (Judy) Wright, John Wright, Melvin (Lashawna) Wright, Jim (Donna) Wright, Roy Wright; several nieces and nephews; and her companion Neal Hayes.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant son, Velmer Wright.

A visitation will be held at Sanders Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington Street in Crawfordsville on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral service at 12:00 pm with Pastor Rodney Coffman officiating. Burial will follow at Old Union Cemetery in Waveland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
