Donald Coahran

Mr. Donald Carl Coahran, Sr., 82, Crawfordsville, passed away Monday, January 12th, at 7:38 AM in the Ben Hur Nursing Home. He was born October 24th, 1932, in Crawfordsville, to Charles Melvin and Helen Delilah (Toney) Coahran. He married Judith Dianne Keller on February 27th, 1962, in Las Vegas. She survives.

Mr. Coahran retired from R. R. Donnelleys after 40 years of employment where he had been a "Stamper". He was a Korean War U. S. Army Veteran and a 1950 graduate of Crawfordsville High School. His hobbies included woodworking and sports.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Angela Coahran, Crawfordsville; Joe (Lisa) Coahran, Indianapolis; Christopher Coahran, Lafayette; and Donald Coahran, Jr., Crawfordsville. Also surviving is his granddaughter: JoLynne Coahran. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother: Charles Melvin Coahran.

Cremation was selected without services. Powers-Priebe Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to: The Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County, 1104 Big Four Arch Rd., Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
