Donald Gene Gould

Mr. Donald Gene Gould, age 85, of Crawfordsville, IN. passed way at 11:10 am Saturday March 21, 2015 at Whitlock House assisted living, following declining health of several months.
Don was born at Otterbein, IN. on July 31, 1929 the son of Lester Gould and Helen Gould Runkle and graduated from Otterbein High School.
Don worked his entire life in auto body repair. He worked in Lafayette for Pittman Ford, in Rockville for McKinney's and for 18 years he owned Gould Body in New Richmond, IN. and retired from Baker Gould Body and Paint in Crawfordsville, In.
Don married Rosalee Hill in March of 1947 and together they raised 3 children. sons; Donald W. (wife- Diana) Gould of Crawfordsville, In and Jeff (wife- Cathi) Gould of Thorntown, In and daughter: Cathy (husband-John) Knoble of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 grandson.
It was Don's wishes to have cremation and for his family to hold a private scattering of his ashes. Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 Bratton rd. Waynetown is assisting the family with these arrangements.
