Donald C Hager

Donald C. Hager, age 76, of Kingman passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 4:20am at The Waters of Scottsburg in Scottsburg, IN. Don was born in Champaign, IL on August 9, 1937 to the late Donald and Helen (Zaphel) Hager. He graduated from Danville High School and on July 30, 1965 he married his wife of 48 years, Sue (Jones) Hager, who survives.

Don served in the Naval Reserves and worked as a Jr. Engineer at the old Bohn Heat Transfer in Danville, IL. He enjoyed the outdoors, liked riding his Kubota tractor, and loved to tinker and work on computers.

He is survived by his wife, Sue (Jones) Hager of Kingman; two daughters, Sue Ann (Robert) Davis of Cayuga and Dawn Ann (Tim) DePugh of Veedersburg; two sisters, Judith (Tom) Jordon of Westville and Shelia (Harold) Hahn of Boswell; and four grandsons, Nate, Nash, Robby, and Corey.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donna Meade.

Family will receive friends from 5pm till time of service at 8pm on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, Kingman with Pastor Kenneth Majors officiating.
