Mr. Donald Lawrence Hultz, 78, Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday, July 2nd, at 11:09 PM in the St. Elizabeth East Hospital, Lafayette. He was born June 5th, 1938, in Crawfordsville, to Jesse Lawrence and Mildred Mae (Miller) Hultz. He married Joyce A. Wisdom on July 18th, 1959 in New Market. She survives.

Don retired in 1997 after 38 years with R. R. Donnelleys where he had worked in the Shipping and IBM Departments. He was a 1956 graduate of New Market High School; a member of the New Market Christian Church; a United States Marine Corps Veteran; member of the Crawfordsville American Legion Post #72; a member of the Masonic Lodge #50 and the Murat Shrine; and his joy was spending time with his family and was proud of all of them.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter: Donna (Donnie) Haase, Crawfordsville; his sister: Joyce (Max) Pittenger, Crawfordsville; granddaughters: Jennifer (Chad) Cary and Jessica (Drew) Isenhour; great-grandchildren: Addilyn, Alivia, Riley, Anderson, and Jackson; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son: Jeffrey Lawrence Hultz; and his parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, July 7th, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, with Rev. Kurt Flora officiating. Burial with Military Rites conducted by the U.S. Marines and the American Legion and VFW Posts Honor Guard will follow in the Oak Hill North Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the service time.
