Donald Leslie Parker

Mr. Donald Leslie Parker, 84, Crawfordsville, passed away Wednesday, September 9th, at 2:05 AM in the Franciscan St. Elizabeth Crawfordsville Hospital. He was born July 28th, 1931, to Albert Lawson ad Mary Sylvia (Everett) Parker. He married Phyllis Routh Massing on October 30th, 1949 in Crawfordsville. She survives.

Mr. Parker retired in 1992 after 42 years of employment from R. R. Donnelleys where he had been a Material Handler. He was a 1949 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and a member of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Theda C. Parker, Tacoma, Washington; Donica R. (Ray) Miller, Covington; and Teresa A. (Christian) Saenger, Kent, Washington. Also surviving is his brother: Bryce G. (Minta) Parker; 3 granddaughters; and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son: Donald A., in 1966; his parents; 3 brothers; and 1 sister.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Monday, September 14th, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Whicker officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 PM until the service time.
