Donald Jason Reamer

Donald Jason Reamer, age 47 of Crawfordsville, passed away on his 47th birthday, June 2, 2021, at home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Charleston, South Carolina on June 2, 1974 to Harry John Reamer and Pamela J. (Stonebraker) Hauser.

Don graduated from North Montgomery High School and worked at Raybestos as a machinist for 15 years. He married the love of his life, Laura Lawson, on August 11, 2006. He was an avid gardener, a big nerd that loved Star Wars and Marvel, and cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Laura; his mother, Pamela (Steve) Hauser; his children, Shelby Reamer, Justin Green, and Cody (Victoria) Zapfe; six grandchildren, Araya, Kamden, Mason, Khloe, Kendrick and, Gunnar; a brother, John (Terri) Reamer; a sister, Ruth Anne (Robert) Light; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry John Reamer; a brother, Harry James Reamer; and grandparents, James and Ruth Stonebraker, Iva Heide, and Carl Reamer.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St in Crawfordsville on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm. The funeral service will be on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 1:00pm with Pastor Mike Whitacre officiating. Burial will follow at New Richmond Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses.
