Dorothy Fay (Goff) Finneran, age 91, passed away at 7:35 am on July 6, 2012 at Heritage Health Care in West Lafayette. Dorothy was born on May 23, 1921 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Samuel C. Goff and Mary Magadlene (Means) Goff.

She married Edward Finneran on October 12, 1963 in Cincinnati, OH who died in 1989.

Dorothy worked in the mailroom at Ryerson Steel in Cincinnati for about 20 years and she retired in 1978.

She lived in Camp Dennison, OH for over 30 years before moving to Peebles, OH to live with her son Ronnie. Her granddaughters moved her to West Lafayette, IN just one month ago.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, eating healthy, walking, bicycling, and loved spending time with family and friends. She was a snowbird and called Venice, FL her wintertime home for many years. She was a member of the Clifton Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Edward Finneran, a sister Mildred White, 3 brothers Dayton, Walker, and Cabbel Goff, a son Ronald Schultze, and a daughter Debbie Schultze.

Survivors include her sister Macel Smith of Charleston, WV; 3 granddaughters Shelly (John) Moore of West Lafayette, IN, Roxanne (Dale) Kemp of Indianapolis, IN and Katrina Schultze of Fort Myers, FL; 5 great-grandchildren, John Tyler Moore, Jacob Tucker, Austin Moore, Cady Kemp and Chase Touarti; great-great-granddaughter Melanie Tucker; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sanders Funeral Care entrusted with care. Direct Cremation was chosen with a memorial service and inurnment held at a later date at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH.
