Douglas Dean Denhart, age 67 of Veedersburg, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at home. He was born in Danville, Illinois on October 29, 1956 to the late Walter & Elizabeth (Harmeson) Denhart.

Doug graduated from Covington High School in 1975 and married the love of his life, Jannie Marie Moore on June 3, 1978. Doug was a farmer and owned a gun shop, "The Trading Post" in Covington for a few years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and eating. He loved hanging out and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jannie; a brother, Robert (Mary E.) Denhart; a sister-in-law, Pat Denhart; a favorite nephew, Zeke Addison and several other nieces and nephews; best friends, Kevin Hari and Jackie Bowling, and many other friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Denhart; a sister, Mary Lee Vanegas; and a niece, Teresa Ramey.

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 4:00 pm till the time of the funeral service at 6:00 pm with Jackie Bowling officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Share memories and condolences online at www.SandersFuneralCare.com.
