Edna Widger

Mrs. Edna Mildred Widger, 89, Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday, September 28, at 1:05 AM, in the Ben Hur Nursing Home. She was born July 11, 1924, in Crawfordsville, to Cecil R. "Tick" and Zona (Eakle) High. She married Charles Clifford Widger, July 5, 1945, in Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death in 2007.

Mrs. Widger was a Homemaker; attended Crawfordsville Schools; was a member of the Smartsburg Christian Church; and enjoyed quilting and knitting.

She is survived by her children: Lavonne (Max) Simpson, Crawfordsville; and Steven Widger, West Lafayette. Also surviving is her brother: George (Beverly) High, New Ross; sisters: Barbara Phillips, Crawfordsville; Buena Cunningham, Lafayette; Linda Conarroe, Ohio; 2 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Cremation was selected with a Family committal service to be held in the Oak Hill North Cemetery at a later date
