Mr. Edward Max Fendley, 89, Crawfordsville, passed away Wednesday, March 26, at 1:50 AM, in the Williamsburg Healthcare. He was born May 27, 1924, in Indianapolis, to Richard A. and Lucinda D. (Van Cleave) Fendley. He married Martha Ann Ingersoll on February 21, 1948, in Crawfordsville. She preceded him in death in 2009.

Mr. Fendley retired in 1989 from RR Donnelleys where he had worked for 43 years. He was a 1942 graduate of Ladoga High School; a WW II U. S. Navy Veteran; member of the Trinity United Methodist Church; and a member of the American Legion Post #72.

He is survived by his children: Debra Barry, Crawfordsville; Richard (Patti) Fendley, Sterling, Virginia; Scott Fendley, Seattle, Washington; grandchildren: Kirk DeVore; Shannon Wilson; Pamela Brooks; Edward Fendley; Sara Barry; Katie Fendley; Kristane Fendley; great grandchildren: Trystin Wilson; Brandon Wilson; Drucilla Barry; Kylie DeVore; and Lilyana Henry. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Don Fendley.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 1, at 11:00 AM in the Ladoga Cemetery with Rev. Chris Renick officiating. Friends may call at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home on Monday, March 31, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM
