Edwin Leon Perry

Edwin Leon Perry, age 94 of Kingman, passed away with family at his side on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Waters of Covington . Edwin was born in Cates, Indiana on November 6, 1923 to William P. and Minnie (Allen) Perry.
Edwin attended Kingman High School and proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Japan. Throughout the years he cut and styled hair for over 50 years and owned Leon's Beauty Salon in Rockville, Bloomingdale, and Perrysville. He enjoyed life and loved the outdoors. He was a member of the Perrysville American Legion Post #350.
Edwin is survived by two sisters, Mona Stonebraker and Connie Warnick, both of Kingman; several nieces and nephews; special nieces, Holly, Cindy, Kandy, and Melody; two great nieces, Abby and Amber; who were always there for him during his illness; and special nephew, Billy.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers, Ted, Gerald, Farrell, Gene, and Ralph; and two sisters, Geneva and Maxine.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 11:00am at Coopers Chapel Cemetery with military rites and officiated by Pastor Rick Fay. Sanders Funeral Care entrusted with care.
