Eileen Hutchison

March 9, 1926 — September 7, 2017

Mrs. Eileen Hutchison, age 91, joined her Lord and Savior Thursday morning, September 7th while residing at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville, IN.

Eileen was born on March 9, 1926 at Peoria, IL. the daughter of George Edward "Ed" Schoenheider and Anne Smith Schoenheider. She graduated from Crawfordsville High School with the class of 1943 and married Dudley Max Hutchison on September 5, 1943 at Monterey, CA. while he was in the service. Eileen and Max made their home at Veedersburg, IN. for many years before moving to Crawfordsville. Eileen had many interest, she was an avid reader, loved birds, which she could identify many by their sound. She studied geneology and coresponded with 86 pen pals in many countries over her lifetime. She often told stories to her children of the many accomplishments of their ancesters and she was known for making her own greeting cards. Eileen worked for a number of years at the Covington IGA and was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Crawfordsville, IN. She will be greatly missed by her son, Mark (wife-Susan) Hutchison of Crawfordsville, In. daughters, Laura (husband- George) Bennett-Gowen of Lebanon, IN.; Carol (husband- Jerry) Stagg of Brazil, IN.; Cindy (husband-Newell) Stalbaum of Valporaiso, IN. and Karen (husband-Chris) Noles of Youngstown, NC. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Max Hutchison on March 12, 1994 and 1 brother and 1 sister.

Funeral services for Eileen will be held at 3:00pm Monday September 11th at Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 Bratton Rd. Waynetown, IN. and officiated by Pastor Judy Early. the family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the service at 3:00pm on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
