Mrs. Eleanor J. West, age 81, of Veedersburg, IN. passed away Thursday evening February 1, 2018 at the Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health, Crawfordsville, IN. Eleanor was born on December 23, 1936 at Veedersburg, IN. the daughter of Charlie and Edith (nee: Shirley) Stonebraker. Eleanor graduated from Veedersburg High School and was retired from R.R.Donneley and Sons in Crawfordsville, In.
Eleanor married Oscar West on July 28, 1962 and he preceded her in death on August 9, 2007. She is survived by two stepsons: Bill West of Crawfordsville, IN and Bruce (wife- Melanie) West of Advance, IN. She will also be missed by her Brother and sister in law: Charles and Carol Stonebraker of Veedersburg, IN. and her sister Beverly Keeling of Veedersburg, IN. She has 4 grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren and several neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
The family will receive guest at Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 Bratton Rd.Waynetown, In. on Wednesday February 7th from 12 noon until 2:00 PM after which there will be a graveside service at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
